You will evaluate internal and external ideas for investment through research and due diligence. You will compile research reports through an incisive synthesis of information within the sensors, medical devices, and smart health fields to determine partnerships, investments, and strategy. You will articulate the alignment and role of target ventures within our company’s broader growth plans. You will compare and compile the business models of key competitors through research and evaluating emerging technology innovation. You will formulate appropriate investment strategy, conduct periodic review, and update strategy as needed. You will create financial and valuation models to evaluate the impact of target projects on enterprise strategies. You will participate in partner-facing teams to gather and interpret data, create presentations, and take part in go/no go decisions. You will achieve agreed upon personal and team targets, quotas, and outcomes; identify and track KPIs. You will establish, develop, and maintain positive business and startups relationships. You will keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the market. Global Operations Manager (Santa Clara, CA):

We are hiring a Global Operations Manager to join our Venture Lab Silicon Valley team. In this role, you will work with the executive management team to establish the vision and strategy for the Global Operations function. You will develop, implement, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators for all areas of global operations, including Product management, program management, pre-sales and post-sales. You will design and implement best practices in Operations Policies and Procedures. You will validate new ideas and projects, prioritize a product’s release course, and coordinate all processes to get a product or idea ready for the market. You will provide research data on a product’s consumer desirability, technology feasibility, business viability, and supply chain delivery channels. You will evaluate, embrace and implement new breakthrough technologies designed to deliver a customer experience that significantly outpaces the competition. You will provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and analyses. You will assess market competition by comparing the company’s product to competitors’ products. You will partner closely with global and regional counterparts in Global Ventures, Workforce Management, Finance, Sales, Account Management, and other functional teams to drive initiatives to successfully deliver on key business and customer priorities. You will create the product market strategy and generate the sales pitch to internal and external shareholders. You will assist with post-sales product support strategy and lead the implementation efforts. You will demonstrate a primary commitment to consumer safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to all applicable laws, regulations, and company quality processes and procedures.  In partnership with the Operations leadership team, you will ensure the Operations team goals and objectives are aligned with the company’s strategies and business objectives. You will develop and manage budgets for Operations; monitor and take corrective action to assure that budgets are met. You will engage with business partners to plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the impact of proposed global regulatory, quality, and clinical research changes to current manufacturing processes and impact to market. You will support the investigation of complaints, product quality issues, and serious quality incident reports. You will build a high-performance, highly engaged functional culture aligned to the corporate culture to ensure the Global Operations team can attract, develop, engage, and retain talented associates. You will perform domestic or international job-related travel.
