Venture Lab Silicon Valley
UX Designer (Santa Clara, CA):
We are seeking an exceptional UX designer to join our Venture Lab Silicon Valley team. In this position, you will apply Human Factors techniques and methodologies towards the design and development of medical devices and related software in compliance with FDA and other regulatory standards and guidelines. (e.g., FDA Human Factors guidance, ISO 1485, IEC 62366, AAMI HE75). You will lead the design process as part of key development projects, perform workflow analysis and risk analysis activities such as task and use error analysis, and ensure traceability to design mitigations and requirements for risk areas. You will plan and execute usability studies (Formative and Summative), analyze data, document results, and present recommendations to product teams. You will utilize UX best practices to create user centric solutions and workflow design. You will collaborate with cross functional teams and external companies, coach, facilitate the use of UX best practices, tools, frameworks. You will develop high-level and detailed wireframes, storyboards, and mockups. You will influence adoption of ideas and solutions with key cross functional stakeholders across geographies. You will address usability issue while participating in Voice-Of-Customer studies. You will work closely with internal and external teams to ensure accurate implementation, compliance of design.

Financial and Market Analyst (Santa Clara, CA):
We are hiring a Financial and Market Analyst to join our Venture Lab Silicon Valley team. In this role, you will support corporate venture building from ideation to program execution through research, market and financial analysis. You will compile research reports through an incisive synthesis of information within the applicable industry to determine partnerships, investments, and strategy. You will analyze and compare the business models of competitors. You will work closely with the venture building team to prepare and deliver timely financial updates and business model analyses to key project stakeholders. You will create financial and valuation models to evaluate the impact of target projects on enterprise strategies. This includes quantitative analysis of market potential (TAM, SAM, SOM). You will take part in go/no go decisions by gathering and interpreting data and contributing to presentations. You will develop pricing analyses on new ventures. You will support on developing financial performance KPIs for new ventures, expansion strategy for new ventures, target organizational and legal structure for new ventures. You will support the VID team with analysis and initial due diligence based on investment targets. You will identify and quantify risks and opportunities for new ventures. You will achieve personal and team targets, quotas, and outcomes within agreed upon schedule. You will establish, develop, and maintain positive internal, business and startup relationships. You will keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the market. You will effectively engage with startups and research groups to clarify the market opportunity and potential engagement options.

Global Pre-Sales Support Engineer (Santa Clara, CA):
We are hiring a Global Pre-Sales Support Engineer to join our Venture Lab Silicon Valley team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting direct and indirect sales initiatives by securing the “technical close”. This person will be the first hire for the pre-sales responsibility and grow into the role of manager of the group. You will collaborate with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. You will help manage and grow new and existing partner relationships to drive incremental revenue. Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or another relevant field required; MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technology pre-sales. Strong presence and sales aptitude.
